Nike Air Max 95 "Grape"

Nike Air Max 95

It was months ago that we confirmed the retro release of the “Grape” Nike Air Max 95. Now the race to grab your own pair can begin, as 21 Mercer has received their shipment and has them for sale now.

Like so many classic colorways of the 95 that we’ve seen this year, this look is pretty true to OG. The white midsole works with the gradient upper, which transitions into a black midfoot, complete with black 3M. Teal lace hoops work with the purple tongue and Swoosh, as well as the teal Max Air bags below, to break up the simple greyscale upper. Check with your local retailer if you’re after a pair, as they’re hitting select Nike retailers soon.

Having already seen it appear in a number of colorways in the past year and a half, including the heralded Dark Neon Royal pair, the “Eggplant” look is the next to hit shelves and likely sell out immediately.

Black suede provides a base, while purple Foamposite material dresses the majority of the upper. Details include the multicolor Penny logo on the ankle, the voltage-designed Swoosh, icy outsole and two-tone laces. Air Jordan 11 Cool Grey

The past two Decembers have concluded with an Air Jordan 11 colorway in some form (2008 – Air Jordan 11/12 Countdown Pack, 2009 – “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11), and 2010 will end in the same manner. We have been hinting at the highly-anticipated Air Jordan 11 “Cool Grey” returning at the end of this year, and additional information continues to surface about this release.

Sources have stated that the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 11 is tentatively expected to hit retailers on December 23rd, 2010 for $175. The price point and the release date come as no surprise seeing that each Air Jordan 11 within the past couple of years has released during the holiday season. However, the release date is subject to change, therefore, it would behoove you not to be attached with the aforementioned date. Who else cannot wait until this retro becomes available?

Nike Air Max LeBron VIII White/White Sample

Nike Air Max LeBron VIII White/White Sample

When the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII was first spotted, it was wearing an all white colorway and only visible in thumbnail-sized teasers. Having since seen a Miami-/Cleveland-/Chicago-ready black/white-red shoe, we know fully what this shoe will look like when LBJ laces up next season. This all white kids early sample surfaced recently though, giving us a better idea of just what features King James’ shoe owns.

As noted above, this shoe is a kids-sized sample and subject to change. One feature that is sure to arrive at retailers differently than we see it here is the LBJ23 logo on the heel. LeBron vowed months ago to change his jersey number to 6, attributing the decision to the idea that no player in the NBA should be allowed to wear Michael Jordan’s number. Are you anticipating the release of the Air Max LeBron VIII or stockpiling VIIs while you can?
